What you will do

• Take full ownership of strategic data science projects from exploration to deployment.
• Guide, mentor, and support a small team of Data Scientists, helping them grow technically and professionally.
• Design and build models for personalization, forecasting, user behavior analysis, and marketing efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to turn data insights into real-world impact.
• Help prioritize projects effectively based on value and feasibility with a strong product and user focus.
• Partner with senior leaders to inform strategic planning for the Data function.

Requirements

• Strong foundations in statistics, machine learning, and mathematics.
• Confidence in exploring data, designing models, and evaluating their performance with rigor.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python-based tools (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Experience leading data science projects and delivering valuable insights without overcomplicating the solution.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reproducible code.
• Enjoy helping others grow, sharing feedback, and fostering a supportive, collaborative work environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with recommendation systems, Bayesian modeling, or causal inference.
• Background in growth, marketing analytics, or digital product optimization.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like PyTorch, JAX, or TensorFlow.
• Exposure to experimentation platforms or production ML pipelines.
