What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) with a focus on repeatability, security, and scalability.
• Operate and improve Kubernetes clusters to ensure high availability, resilience, and performance of production applications.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for rapid and reliable software delivery.
• Enhance observability, including metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, SLOs, and dashboards to ensure system health.
• Drive operational excellence by identifying and eliminating toil through automation and process improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on scalable solutions, architecture reviews, and SRE best practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or related engineering roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, EKS, RDS, S3, VPC, IAM) and deep knowledge of Terraform.
• Solid expertise with Kubernetes, including cluster operations, manifests, and Helm.
• Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and experience with monitoring & observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Datadog).
• Strong scripting/programming skills (e.g., Python, Go, Bash).
• Understanding of distributed systems, networking fundamentals, load balancing, and modern security practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively and productively in a fully remote, distributed team across multiple time zones.
