What you will do

• Build user-centric iOS and Android applications using React Native and TypeScript.
• Design and maintain scalable mobile architecture, including navigation, state management, data fetching, and release practices.
• Partner with backend engineers to define and consume APIs, considering contracts, performance, and error handling.
• Implement ticketing/entitlement presentation flows with offline/poor-network fallbacks and caching strategies.
• Build and maintain real-time content and messaging surfaces within the app.
• Implement polished UI from designs, collaborate with design/UX specialists, and instrument mobile analytics events.

Requirements

• Proven experience shipping and supporting React Native apps to production on both iOS and Android.
• Experience building mobile experiences that perform under peak-event conditions (high concurrency, intermittent connectivity).
• Strong TypeScript experience and comfort building shared, reusable component systems.
• Experience with common React Native architecture concerns: navigation, state, async flows, networking, caching, and performance.
• Experience with Jest, React Native Testing Library, and mainstream React Native delivery frameworks/workflows (e.g., Expo, native build pipelines).
• Work authorization for the United States is required (visa sponsorship not available).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with push notifications, deep linking, analytics/event tracking, and crash reporting.
• Experience integrating with external REST/GraphQL APIs and distributed systems.
• Experience with wallet-like UX, QR/barcode flows, redemption experiences, or location-aware features.
• Accessibility experience (VoiceOver/TalkBack) and UI performance profiling.
• Prior client services, consulting, or freelancing experience.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot).
