Senior Instructional Designer

Location: Hybrid in Manila, Philippines (3x Onsite, 2x WFH)

What you will do

• Align with sales, customer growth, marketing, and sales ops teams to extract business problems and learning opportunities related to business objectives.
• Develop storyboards and content using software tools such as Word, PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, and Synthesia, including supplemental materials and assessments.
• Ensure training solutions incorporate best practices in learning theory by monitoring and practicing the latest trends and techniques.
• Perform occasional graphic design work (e.g., infographics) and produce course-related promotional materials.
• Occasionally deliver training courses at all levels, from beginner to advanced, and fulfill voice-over recording requests.

Requirements

• Completed university education in IT/Technology and/or Learning & Development.
• 5-7 years of working experience as an instructional designer or curriculum designer in an L&D environment.
• Strong grasp of the scientific and psychological aspects of learning design.
• Awareness of Agile development techniques and experience with JIRA.
• Strong IT skills and knowledge of the software testing industry.
• Experience in developing assessments for certifications in technical subjects.
• Experience of working with Learning Management Systems.
• Ability to design and work on multiple projects with rapid development deadlines.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English (C1 equivalent).

Nice to have

• Scrum Master qualification.
• Knowledge of software test automation.
