Location: Hybrid in Lisbon, Portugal. Must be living and working in Portugal. No relocation sponsorships provided.

Salary: €49,000–€63,000 gross annual salary including holiday allowance

What you will do

• Design and develop modern REST APIs following industry best practices.
• Create and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI specification.
• Build and implement webhooks for real-time data exchange.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to ensure effective API consumption.
• Participate in API security reviews and performance optimization.
• Lead API testing and quality assurance efforts.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing and building REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Postman and Azure APIM.
• Experience in C#, JavaScript, SQL, HTML, CSS.
• Experience developing on SOAP API (running in IIS).
• Ability to work with web components and understand webhooks.
• Energetic, proactive, with excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Strong ownership mentality and accountability for your work.
• Must be living and working in Portugal.
