Senior Field Application Engineer

Senior Field Application Engineer (Embedded Systems): Driving the design-in and design-win of BLE products and connectivity solutions for Smart Car Access applications with an accent on technical support, hardware design, software development, and mass-production readiness. What you will do

• Deliver field technical support on NXP automotive BLE products/solutions to assigned China Tier1s/OEMs.
• Proactively demonstrate products, propose customized solutions, and influence PL roadmaps.
• Establish strong customer technical relationships, track design-in projects, and debug issues.
• Provide remote and on-site support for critical bug fixes and system bring-up.
• Conduct detailed SCH/PCB layout reviews to identify risks like signal integrity and low power optimization.
• Create technical collateral and train customer engineers to accelerate project timelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
• More than 3 years’ experience in embedded systems development.
• Familiarity with common communication interfaces such as SPI, UART, I²C, CAN/CAN-FD, and LIN.
• Strong understanding of ARM Cortex-M architecture, including exception handling and low-power modes.
• Strong understanding of BLE protocol and ability to interpret core specifications.
• Practical experience with embedded RTOS like FreeRTOS/ThreadX/Linux and good debugger skills.
• Good English skills in speaking and writing.

Nice to have

• Experience in productivity tools (AI tool, VScode, Git, Confluence, Jira).
• Knowledge of AI/ML algorithms applied to general localization applications.
• Experience in BLE channel sounding, RSSI sniffing, handover, UWB, NFC.
