Qa Engineer

TL;DR

QA Engineer: Responsible for designing, reviewing, maintaining, and executing manual & cross-browser tests for our hirify.global eCom (ex-Ecwid) product with an accent on identifying and resolving feature defects. Focus on collaboration with a cross-functional team, leading and participating in release testing efforts for custom feature deployment.

Location: Must be located in Tbilisi to apply and work in a hybrid setup with three days in the office

What you will do

• Design, review, maintain, and execute manual & cross-browser tests.
• Document test plans and procedures, and keep the QA knowledge base up to date.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to identify, document, and resolve feature defects.
• Lead and participate in release testing efforts for custom feature deployment.
• Ensure that the new functionality matches requested specifications.
• Share knowledge and best practices, while always seeking continuous improvement and progress.

Requirements

• Experience in functional testing of web applications for at least two years.
• Good knowledge of developer tools (such as the Elements, Console, Network, and Application tabs), or the ability to quickly learn them.
• Basic proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Git and terminal.
• Knowledge of test design techniques and the ability to apply them.
• Fluent Russian & conversational English (B1).
