What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain orchestration components that enable advanced AI and agentic solutions.
• Orchestrate the end-to-end journey of claims and customer questions, invoking models and handling human checks.
• Translate business rules into resilient AI workflows on orchestration platforms (e.g., Argo, Celery).
• Build and run the service layer using Python/FastAPI APIs with robust observability.
• Apply MLOps/DevOps best practices (CI/CD, infrastructure as code) and embed security and compliance.
• Standardize components for reuse and contribute to NN’s internal AI marketplace.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend or ML engineering for AI/ML or data-intensive applications.
• Strong proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and RESTful API design.
• Deep understanding of orchestration tools such as Argo Workflows, Celery, Airflow, or Temporal.io.
• Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and cloud (primarily Azure).
• Knowledge of ML pipeline orchestration, data engineering concepts, and DevOps best practices.
• English: B2 required.
• Work format: Hybrid with official location in The Hague.

Nice to have

• AWS experience.
• Familiarity with GenAI applications (RAG, vector stores, prompt patterns).
• Familiarity with AI risk/monitoring frameworks.
