Backend Engineer (Fintech)

Backend Engineer (Fintech): Developing key features for an HR platform, contributing to the product's evolution in close collaboration with the Product team with an accent on owning the full development cycle. Focus on technical design, coding, testing, deployment, and monitoring within a continuous delivery environment and microservices architecture.

What you will do

• Develop the product and its unique features in collaboration with the Product team.
• Take ownership of the entire development cycle, from technical design to deployment and monitoring.
• Work in a continuous delivery environment with automated QA processes on a microservices architecture.
• Deploy to production multiple times daily.

Requirements

• Experience as a software engineer, with a strong emphasis on backend development.
• Experience with Kotlin, Scala, or Java.
• Excellent knowledge of software design and scalable architecture.
• Experience with testing methodologies, including unit-testing, TDD, and mocking.
• Experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Must be a proactive team player.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS or an equivalent cloud platform.
