HR Business Partner, International
Squarespace
📍 Dublin, Hybrid
Squarespace is hiring an HR Business Partner, International — a hands-on, trusted people advisor supporting teams across multiple non-U.S. locations. Based in Dublin (3 days/week in the office), this role partners closely with global People teams and local leadership to strengthen organizational health, drive performance, and deliver scalable HR solutions across a diverse international footprint.
What you’ll do
— Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders on performance, development, team dynamics, and change leadership
— Provide expert HR guidance and in-country compliance across multiple jurisdictions (Ireland required; Portugal is a plus)
— Lead and support cross-country HR initiatives with the Global People Partner team
— Drive engagement, culture, and productivity efforts across distributed teams
— Manage complex, multi-jurisdiction employee relations with sound judgment and strong partnership with legal teams
— Act as the “local eyes and ears,” proactively identifying people risks and organizational challenges
— Support talent processes: performance, compensation cycles, workforce planning, talent reviews
— Partner with Talent Acquisition on hiring, mobility, and organizational alignment
— Implement process improvements to increase clarity, consistency, and efficiency
— Surface market and workforce trends to inform global people strategy
— Reinforce inclusion, well-being, and a high-performance culture across the region
Who you are
— 6+ years of progressive HR experience, directly partnering with leadership
— Deep expertise in employment laws across multiple countries (Ireland required)
— Extensive experience managing employee relations across jurisdictions
— Strong analytical ability to turn data into strategic insights
— Skilled at influencing leaders and navigating fast-paced environments
— High judgment, empathy, and the ability to simplify complex issues
— Excellent communicator and collaborator with a strong service orientation
— Proactive, accountable, adaptable, and execution-driven
— Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
