🦄 Description
We are looking for an experienced Unreal Engine C++ Developer to work on improving the engine for mobile games. In this role, you will focus on engine-level development, platform compliance, performance and stability, while providing technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.
🚀 Responsibilities
• Focus on Unreal Engine development for mobile platforms
• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable C++ code
• Maintain code quality and organization
• Perform memory and performance optimizations
• Communicate closely with engineering team and QA
• Assign technical tasks and conduct code reviews
• Provide direction, supervision and mentorship for team members
• Ensure timely software delivery and team coordination
• Collaborate with Technical Leads and Technical Director on estimates, risks and dependencies
📚 Required Skills
• 5+ years of commercial C++ development experience
• Strong proficiency in C++ and understanding of language specification
• Solid knowledge of Unreal Engine
• Experience with native Android or iOS development environments
• Experience debugging low-level issues including memory and multithreading
• Game development experience
• Proven experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Good spoken English and communication skills
• Proven leadership abilities
👍 Nice to Have
• Advanced performance and memory optimization experience
• Experience with C#, Java, Objective-C or Swift
• Experience with mobile graphics APIs such as Metal, OpenGL or Vulkan
• Console development experience on PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo
• Passion for games
