What you will do

• Produce high-quality 2D assets for games, including characters, environments, and UI components.
• Lead the development of concept art, mood boards, and style guides to define artistic vision.
• Collaborate with animators, game designers, and developers for seamless artwork integration.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for innovative art concepts.
• Manage and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines and maintain quality.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques.

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D art within the gaming industry.
• Solid expertise in crafting characters, environments, and UI elements.
• 2+ years of experience with digital painting and vector graphics tools.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior artists.
• Strong understanding of color theory, composition, and visual storytelling.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in Barcelona, Spain on a full-time basis without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.
