Salary: $130,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop new and existing Android native applications in Kotlin and Compose.
• Support and manage in-house developed Android mobile applications.
• Test and maintain various native Android mobile applications to identify processes and development efficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Document new applications or changes made to existing applications.
• Support systems to provide continuous integration and automated testing processes.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience with Android development.
• 4+ years of experience with Kotlin.
• Proficiency with MVVM architecture or equivalent.
• Understanding of Git, and willingness to participate in code reviews.
• Published one (or more) application in the Google Play Store.
• Solid understanding of the Android release cycle and advanced understanding of Google APIs.
• Advanced understanding of the Android Studio IDE and build process.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
• Understanding of both imperative and declarative frameworks (Jetpack Compose, Flutter, etc.).
• Must reside in one of the following US states: CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, KS, MD, ME, MA, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA.
• Not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
• Cannot be located within Chicago city limits.
