What you will do

• Lead and coach a team of AML analysts, supporting their growth and managing workload prioritization.
• Review and approve complex investigations ensuring compliance with AML policies and regulations.
• Monitor team metrics and drive operational excellence through process and workflow improvements.
• Utilize and train the team on blockchain analytics tools for fiat and crypto transaction monitoring.
• Stay current on financial crime typologies, regulatory changes, and emerging risks.
• Communicate proactively with stakeholders and foster a culture of continuous learning.

Requirements

• Must have 4+ years AML/CTF experience including 2+ years crypto AML experience.
• 1-2+ years in a team leadership role with coaching or managing direct reports.
• Expertise in AML controls, typologies, and compliance frameworks (FATF, FINTRAC).
• Experience with investigations and regulatory reporting (STRs, LVCTR, EFTR).
• Proven operational rigor meeting SLAs and driving QA and process improvements.
• Proficiency with crypto on-chain analytics tools (Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Certifications in Chainalysis, TRM Labs, Elliptic, or financial crime designations (CAMS, CFE, CFCS).
• Experience at regulated crypto exchanges or blockchain analytics firms.
