Finance Manager

Location: This role follows a hybrid work model, with a strong on-site presence at our Belgrade office, Serbia and flexibility when needed.

What you will do

• Manage end-to-end finance operations, including accounting, reporting, and treasury activities for the Serbian entity.
• Establish and maintain accounting systems, policies, and procedures in line with Group policy and Serbian legal requirements.
• Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting to the Melbourne HQ.
• Oversee local regulatory compliance, including tax filings, exemptions, and audits.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Act as the key liaison between local teams, external consultants, and the global finance organization.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of financial accounting experience, ideally CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent).
• Experience in software development, SaaS, IT, audit, or advisory environments is highly valued.
• Solid knowledge of financial control, accounting standards, reporting, and compliance.
• Ability to operate autonomously as the first local finance hire.
• Fluent in English for confident communication with international stakeholders.
• Proactive and adaptable mindset for a fast-scaling global company.
