What you will do

• Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the Elvenar game.
• Develop and optimize the PHP codebase while implementing solid game logic.
• Collaborate closely with Game Developers and other Game production specialists.
• Be part of the entire feature development lifecycle.
• Ensure high product quality by applying automated tests.
• Foster knowledge sharing, best practices, and high-level standards.

Requirements

• 4+ years of professional expertise in an agile software development environment.
• Strong focus on backend development with PHP and OOP.
• Advanced knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, for efficient query writing.
• Proficiency in design patterns, software architecture, and unit testing.
• Interest in AI and leveraging agentic coding assistants to streamline development.
• Excellent English skills are essential for working in a multicultural environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unity or Haxe to contribute directly to game front ends.
• Passion for online games.
