Full-Stack Developer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Full-Stack Developer (Fintech): Building and evolving a scalable, high-performance content platform with an accent on end-to-end feature development, quality, and performance. Focus on designing and implementing new functionality, refactoring existing features, and ensuring accessibility and SEO.

Location: Hybrid with flexibility to work remotely within Europe, and spend up to three months per year working from another country.

Salary: €5,200 – €5,600 per month

What you will do

• Implement new front-end and back-end functionality for the content platform and related services.
• Own features end to end, from technical design and development to deployment and monitoring.
• Write and maintain automated tests to ensure reliability and long-term maintainability.
• Ensure high standards for accessibility (WCAG), performance (Core Web Vitals), and SEO.
• Participate actively in code reviews, contributing feedback and learning from peers.
• Collaborate transparently with product owners and cross-functional teams to solve real user problems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Full-Stack or Backend-heavy Software Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise-grade backend frameworks (e.g. Symfony/Laravel (PHP) or Spring Boot (Java)).
• Strong proficiency in modern PHP, TypeScript and/or Java, with emphasis on strong typing and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred; MySQL acceptable).
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, including versioning, error handling, and documentation.
• English: B2 required.

Nice to have

• Experience with modern meta-frameworks such as Astro, Nuxt, or Next.js (SSR/SSG, islands architecture).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools (Sentry, Datadog, or similar), and web performance optimization.
• Background in fintech or content-driven platforms, or strong interest in learning the domain.
