Product Designer (AI)

Product Designer (AI): Conducting user research and problem exploration to drive product outcomes and usability within a cross-functional team, with an accent on integrating AI and automation into accountancy software. Location: Hybrid in Belgium (Ghent), with a minimum of two days a week in the office.

What you will do

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research to deeply understand user needs and behaviours.
• Lead problem exploration, ideation, experimentation, and iteration.
• Take ownership of usability within product decision-making across the full product lifecycle.
• Drive better product outcomes by ensuring solutions are usable, feasible, and adopted by customers.
• Contribute to consistent, scalable product quality via the shared UI & UX design system.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers in an empowered cross-functional team.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience, ideally working on complex data-rich applications.
• Familiarity with leading and/or contributing to a Design System or reusable component library.
• Involvement in projects ensuring the integrity of design, UI and championing user-centred design principles.
• Strong proficiency in Figma, with advanced usage for design system management highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both written and verbally.
• Must be based in Belgium and able to collaborate in-person at the Ghent office one or two days a week.
