What you will do

• Drive end-to-end development: design scalable backend services (Node.js/Go), optimize databases, and build responsive frontends (React/Next.js).
• Architect solutions including API strategy (REST/GraphQL) and cloud infrastructure design.
• Use GenAI tools for rapid prototyping to accelerate feature discovery and validation.
• Design and execute comprehensive test strategies including TDD and integration tests.
• Maintain thorough technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
• Mentor team members through code reviews focusing on architecture and code quality.

Requirements

• Must be located preferably in or near Vienna or within a 2-hour time zone difference.
• 5+ years of full-time backend development experience, preferably with Golang and OOP/SOLID principles.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and fault-tolerant architectures.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).
• Proficiency in RESTful and RPC-based API design.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Experience with asynchronous messaging systems like RabbitMQ, Kafka, or PubSub.
• Working knowledge of AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT for code generation and prototyping.
• Familiarity with UX guidelines and user-centric development.
