What you will do

• Oversee art direction for League of Legends cosmetics from concept to final in-game assets.
• Define and uphold artistic vision, craft standards, and success criteria for cosmetics.
• Translate Riot LA’s creative vision into actionable direction for craft leads and teams.
• Champion player clarity and fantasy, guiding teams to create visually exciting and gameplay-readable art.
• Collaborate across Riot LA and Singapore to maintain alignment and resolve challenges.
• Mentor and grow craft leads, fostering creative excellence and leadership confidence.

Requirements

• Deep experience with the game art production pipeline across multiple art disciplines.
• Proven success in art direction and people management.
• Strong background collaborating with external vendors and co-development partners.
• Skilled in stakeholder management, prioritization, and navigating ambiguity.
• Fluent in English, able to clearly communicate creative direction and goals.
• Deep expertise in League of Legends—its champions, visual identity, and player expectations for cosmetic content.

Nice to have

• Experience planning and maintaining production schedules.
• Broad experience shipping stylized AAA content.
• Familiarity with outsourcing workflows and end-to-end pipelines.
• Engine experience (Unreal, Unity, or proprietary).
• Multilingual skills (Mandarin or other regional languages).
