What you will do

• Refine and deliver product requirements with minimal support
• Collaborate with cross-functional distributed teams using agile methodologies
• Participate in release and sprint planning
• Write clean, well-organized code balancing performance and extensibility
• Support production systems on a shared roster basis
• Mentor and support junior developers and contribute to code quality improvements
• Understand and write infrastructure as code

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years experience in Java/JVM technologies, preferably Spring Boot
• Experience with microservice architectures and RESTful APIs
• AWS experience with EC2, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda, S3
• Competent with relational and key/value databases such as MySQL, Aurora, Cassandra, Redis
• Knowledge of code testability, build pipelines, Docker, and CI/CD systems
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup based in Sydney
