Senior Legal Counsel

TL;DR

Senior Legal Counsel: Supports all NCRA business units and functions, advising on legal and regulatory matters in relation to products and services, and drafting/negotiating contracts. Focus on identifying preventative measures to avoid legal risks, conflicts, and issues, and coordinating disputes and litigation matters.

What you will do

• Act as legal advisor to management, sales, and business clients.
• Negotiate, draft, and review complex RfIs, RfPs, IT sales, services, licensing, subscription, SaaS, and outsourcing agreements.
• Provide proactive, practical, and business-oriented legal advice to various teams.
• Coordinate and advise in employment and commercial disputes and litigation matters.
• Advise on employment matters, company law, competition law, and data protection.
• Participate in regulatory compliance projects and law department activities, including developing best practices and templates.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a major law firm and/or in-house at a multinational company, with a focus on commercial contracts.
• Experience in complex IT services contracts (IP / IT expertise valued) and IT technology/consulting.
• Strong organizational talent with the ability to prioritize effectively, optimize working methods, and meet deadlines.
• Results-oriented thinker with self-initiative, capable of interlinking legal and business perspectives.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Occasional travel is required.
