TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (GCP & SAP Datasphere): Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytical data products on Google Cloud Platform integrated with SAP Datasphere. With an accent on cloud infrastructure, SAP data integration, and data modeling. Focus on designing federated data mesh architectures, mentoring engineers, and ensuring security, scalability, and performance of data solutions.

Location: Hybrid work model based in Stockholm, Sweden

What you will do

Build, enhance, and maintain data pipelines and analytical data products across GCP.
Deploy and manage CI/CD pipelines, Terraform configurations, and cloud infrastructure.
Integrate SAP data sources into cloud-native solutions and develop semantic models using CDS Views and SAP Datasphere.
Collaborate with Product Owners and cross-domain teams to support federated data mesh architecture.
Mentor engineers, lead pair-programming sessions, and present architectural solutions.
Facilitate Agile practices and drive continuous improvement while reducing technical debt.

Requirements

Must have 10+ years of data engineering experience including full lifecycle project implementations.
Strong hands-on expertise in GCP tools such as BigQuery, Dataflow, and DBT.
Advanced experience with SAP Retail scenarios including ECC, CAR, and EWM.
Proficiency with analytical tools like Power BI and programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with both NoSQL and relational databases and strong data modeling skills.
Fluency in English required; Swedish is an advantage.
