What you will do

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to design and implement backend solutions addressing functional and non-functional requirements.
• Lead design and development of new components and functionalities, managing key project tasks and providing updates.
• Coordinate with test teams to ensure thorough testing and create automated test scripts.
• Develop integrations with third-party vendors and evaluate new technologies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and contribute to department standards.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

Requirements

• Must have 8+ years of backend engineering experience with Java and JVM technologies.
• Strong expertise in Spring ecosystem including Spring MVC, Boot, Batch, and Integration.
• Experience designing microservices and distributed systems with REST APIs and web security best practices.
• Proficient in SQL and RDBMS such as Oracle and MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, Linux environments, and Agile methodologies.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend frameworks like Angular and SPA development.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible.
• Experience with message queue systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Background in financial services web solutions.
• Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional distributed teams.
