TL;DR

Junior DevOps Engineer (Platform Engineering): Supporting and optimizing hirify.global Core R&D's development platform, focusing on CI systems, security posture, and internal infrastructure. Focus on improving developer experience, handling alerts, and collaborating with software teams to enhance platform efficiency.

Location: Hybrid in Bulgaria

What you will do

Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize development pipelines and improve developer experience.
Contribute to innovative solutions and processes within the platform engineering team.
Maintain and improve CI systems and internal infrastructure.
Work on security posture tasks for hirify.global.
Handle alerts from internal monitoring systems to maintain high service quality.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in infrastructure/devops/cloud domains.
Working knowledge of Linux and containerization technologies (Docker or equivalent).
Experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Pulumi) and configuration management (Ansible, Chef).
Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
Working experience with a high-level programming language.

Nice to have

Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with build systems (CMake, make).
Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, AKS) and related tools (Helm, ArgoCD).
Experience with alerting and monitoring systems (Prometheus, ELK, Splunk).
Experience with large-scale distributed systems and NoSQL databases (especially hirify.global).
