What you will do

• Establish visual and technical implementation standards and best practices in Unreal Engine.
• Optimize Unreal projects by developing and adjusting shaders, materials, rigs, and blueprints for visual effects and performance.
• Collaborate with Pipeline TDs and developers to improve tools and workflows within Unreal Engine.
• Ensure seamless integration of 3D assets into Unreal projects and verify their compatibility.
• Analyze and resolve technical issues such as shader errors, performance bottlenecks, and rendering problems.
• Develop and implement real-time visual effects, lighting, and post-processing solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Unreal Engine, specifically in Blueprints and tool development.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within the production pipeline.
• Experience in developing custom tools and automating workflows within Unreal Engine.
• Familiarity with Houdini and procedural asset generation.
• Knowledge of 3D software such as Maya or Blender.

Nice to have

• Background in the automotive industry.
• German language skills are a plus.
• Familiarity with C++ and Python.
• Experience with USD workflows and ControlRig.
