Senior Project Manager (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Project Manager (Fintech): Lead and own the end-to-end pipeline of payment integrations including new connections and optimizations with an accent on execution, stakeholder management, and delivery. Focus on orchestrating complex tech projects in fintech, managing multiple teams, and ensuring timely decisions and communication.

Location: Remote from Argentina or Hybrid in Montevideo, Uruguay (55% office attendance required for Montevideo-based employees except IT and Fraud roles)

What you will do

• Build and maintain the integrations pipeline including intake, prioritization, and scheduling by country, partner, and product.
• Consolidate business, technical, and regulatory requirements with measurable acceptance criteria.
• Orchestrate delivery plans including kickoff, milestones, QA/UAT, release, and post-release activities.
• Establish and improve operational rituals and define SLAs across teams and external partners.
• Provide clear communication on integration status and manage expectations with stakeholders.
• Mentor PMs/POs/Leads in execution, risk management, and executive communication.

Requirements

• 7+ years leading complex tech projects/programs, ideally in payments/fintech and integrations.
• Experience coordinating multiple teams and external vendors in high-pressure environments.
• Mastery of Jira, Confluence, and Google Workspace with strong portfolio hygiene.
• Functional knowledge of payment integrations including APIs, webhooks, routing, error codes, 3DS, and vendor SLAs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English.
• Ability to work with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
