Service Desk Specialist

TL;DR

Service Desk Specialist: Providing front-line technical assistance and resolving service requests for internal and external users with an accent on diagnosing and fixing hardware, software, and network issues. Focus on managing user accounts, maintaining IT security, and customizing internal business software.

Location: Hybrid in Zurich, Zug, Basel, or Hyderabad. Must be located in or able to relocate (without sponsorship) to one of these locations.

What you will do

• Provide front-line technical assistance and resolve service requests.
• Diagnose and fix hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts and access permissions.
• Parametrize and customize internal business software (e.g., ERP systems).
• Promote and enforce IT security policies and provide user training.
• Maintain records and a knowledge base for issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• IT support experience, including complex problem resolution.
• Knowledge of low-code technologies, especially in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking for customer-facing roles.

Nice to have

• Understanding of IT security principles and experience with Entra ID and IoT Devices.
• Relevant certifications (CompTIA, ITIL, or Microsoft).
