What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain backend components using C# / ASP.NET 8.0 for mission-critical trading systems.
• Develop and manage hosted services and background workers for real-time trading workflows.
• Build and document RESTful APIs, integrating data access layers with Entity Framework Core and MSSQL Server.
• Implement and maintain TCP/IP socket-based communication between trading modules.
• Containerize services using Docker and Docker Compose, and maintain deployment pipelines via GitLab CI/CD.
• Collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams for sprint planning, issue tracking, and releases, and contribute to documentation.

Requirements

• Strong experience in C# and ASP.NET Core (up to .NET 8), specifically with hosted/background services and dependency injection.
• Proven knowledge of designing and consuming REST APIs, proficiency in Swagger/OpenAPI, Entity Framework, and MSSQL Server.
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP socket communication and practical experience writing tests with XUnit.
• Experience using GitLab for version control and CI/CD.
• Working knowledge of Docker and Docker Compose for local development and deployment.
• Familiarity with Jira and AsciiDoc for agile collaboration and documentation, and experience publishing/consuming NuGet packages.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis Cache for performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Solace PubSub+ Message Broker or other event-driven messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
• Experience with high-availability and fault-tolerant architectures in financial or trading systems.
• Knowledge of monitoring and performance tools for .NET microservices.
