What you will do

• Lead QA efforts for software applications in the Financial Securities Industry.
• Prepare and document test strategies, plans, and cases for various platforms.
• Design and execute test cases, analyze results, and manage defects.
• Troubleshoot issues and participate in defect root cause analysis.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Confirm code under test meets business requirements and defined test exit criteria.

Requirements

• Overall 8+ years of experience in QA roles with minimum 2 years of experience as test lead.
• Working experience in the Financial Industry sector on mainframe and UNIX (AIX) platforms.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Canadian wealth management.
• Hands-on experience with IMS and DB2 tables to query for various validations.
• Previous experience testing applications on mainframe platforms (online CICS screens, batch testing using JCL, TSO, ISPF, SQL).
• Hands-on experience with defect management process and test techniques (black box, white box, smoke, automated testing).
