Lead Software Engineer (LiveOps Platform)

What you will do

• Define and own the technical architecture of the LiveOps Platform ensuring reliability and scalability
• Write high-quality, high-performance backend code and act as the primary technical problem solver
• Build tools and services for managing A/B tests, configurations, feature flags, and game balance
• Automate LiveOps processes to increase speed and transparency for product teams
• Lead and mentor a team of 3–5 engineers in best practices and code quality
• Manage technical debt and align platform roadmap with multiple stakeholders

Requirements

• English: B2 level or higher required
• Work remotely from anywhere except Russia and Belarus
• 6+ years experience in backend system design and operation
• Proven leadership experience as a technical lead or team lead
• Strong Python development skills and system design expertise
• Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and monitoring

Nice to have

• Experience with A/B testing platforms and real-time event processing
• Knowledge of game economy principles or mobile gaming industry experience
• Experience building UI/UX tools for non-technical users
