What you will do

• Engage in full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, building, testing, deployment, and production support
• Collaborate with a distributed, self-motivated team to iteratively improve the product
• Develop scalable, secure, and performant mobile app features using Flutter and related technologies
• Implement automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment practices
• Contribute beyond core specialism to help deliver team goals

Requirements

• Location: Hybrid work model with minimum 50% office presence in Manchester and Bristol, UK
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of software design patterns and paradigms such as OOAD, DDD, MVC, microservices, containers, and event-driven architecture
• Experience writing performant, scalable, secure, and well-tested code
• Ownership mindset with ability to clear roadblocks and collaborate effectively
• Experience with investment or pensions platforms is advantageous
• English: B2 level or higher required

Nice to have

• Experience with Flutter, Dart, Firebase, Riverpod, gRPC, PostgreSQL, Docker
• Knowledge of TypeScript, Vue, and Go
