Platform Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and maintain platform capabilities using Python and Django
• Operate and optimize AWS infrastructure including EKS, S3, SES, Lambda
• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Implement observability systems and monitor platform health
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance platform productivity and security

Requirements

• Location: Based in or near Vienna, Austria (hybrid role)
• 5-8 years experience in software engineering, platform engineering, or DevOps
• Strong Python coding skills; Django or FastAPI knowledge is a plus
• Hands-on AWS experience with EKS, S3, SES, Lambda
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions or ArgoCD
• Good English communication skills; German is a plus

• Experience with FastAPI
• German language skills
