TL;DR

SDET Python (KOS Platform): Developing and maintaining test automation and quality assurance processes for hirify.global OS specialized in cybersecurity for IoT and embedded systems with an accent on functional and nonfunctional testing, CI/CD integration, and network traffic analysis. Focus on designing and automating tests, supporting test frameworks, and participating in certification processes.

What you will do

• Work with requirements and develop test documentation including test plans and scenarios
• Perform functional and nonfunctional testing and manage bug lifecycle
• Automate quality control activities and integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines
• Enhance test frameworks and develop testing tools
• Develop, debug, and maintain test stands including hardware and software
• Participate in release procedures and certification processes

Requirements

• Experience in software testing of at least 3 years
• Proficient in Python and Linux at an experienced user level
• Knowledge of Docker including dockerfile, compose, deployment, and network configuration
• Understanding of software testing methods and lifecycle
• Knowledge of networking technologies and experience with network traffic capture and analysis
• English proficiency sufficient to read technical documentation

Nice to have

• Experience with network setup, traffic analysis, and network application development
• Experience testing SDKs and cross-compiling system applications
• Experience writing and building tests/programs in C, C++, or Rust
• Experience with load and performance testing
• Experience with software certification for functional safety or cybersecurity standards
• Knowledge of SDL practices such as static/dynamic analysis, fuzzing, and hardening
• Experience with virtualization systems like VmWare and VirtualBox
• Basic understanding of operating system architecture
• Experience working in distributed teams with mixed remote and office presence
