What you will do

• Build and maintain robust, scalable gameplay systems by writing clean code and collaborating with designers.
• Create and improve custom tools and editors for designers and artists to enhance content workflows.
• Participate in development scheduling and collaborate with producers and project managers to meet milestones.
• Architect and implement responsive UI elements like screens and widgets in collaboration with design teams.
• Review feature designs to provide technical feedback on feasibility, costs, and alternatives.
• Optimize game performance through profiling and troubleshooting memory, CPU, and rendering issues.

Requirements

• Must be located in Montreal, Canada and work on-site 5 days a week.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience with over 8 years in software development.
• Expert-level programming skills in C# and proficiency with Unity engine.
• Experience with source control systems such as GIT or Perforce.
• Strong communication skills in both French and English.
• Proven track record of shipping multiple online games on PC, console, or mobile platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience with multiple game engines and complex gameplay system architecture (AI, multiplayer, RPG systems).
• Familiarity with UI frameworks such as Unity GUI or NGUI.
• Experience working in Agile or Kanban environments.
