What you will do

• Write, review, and maintain high-quality code including debugging and incident response
• Plan and architect major system components and collaborate with product teams
• Coach and mentor developers to improve skills and engineering practices
• Contribute to shared libraries, open source, and best practice documentation
• Support organizational objectives beyond immediate role scope

Requirements

• Location: Based in or near Auckland, New Zealand preferred
• Experience at principal, staff, or tech lead level in software engineering
• Strong knowledge of modern web application development and architecture
• Proven experience in frontend or backend development with modern frameworks and RESTful APIs
• Ability to deliver architectural changes in large complex systems
• English: Proficient communication skills required
