Frontend Engineer (AI)

TL;DR

Frontend Engineer (AI): Building and optimizing client-facing products for visualising insights generated by data scientists with an accent on data visualisation techniques and technical best practices. Focus on developing scalable, maintainable, and well-tested web applications and maintaining reusable component libraries.

Location: Hybrid (2 days in our Old Street office, London, UK). May need to be eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC) and willing to work on site with government customers from time to time.

What you will do

• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and design specialists to build client-facing products.
• Prioritise, plan, coordinate, and communicate frontend features to internal and external stakeholders.
• Set up and maintain the development and deployment infrastructure for your dedicated frontend team.
• Maintain and enforce technical best practices and standards across hirify.global's entire frontend capacity.
• Create and maintain reusable component libraries for use in projects company-wide.
• Provide training, mentoring, and onboarding support for new frontend engineers.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in building scalable, maintainable, and well-tested web applications using React.
• Highly proficient in foundational web technologies, including ES6 JavaScript, HTML, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience writing TypeScript or other typed languages, contributing to robust codebases.
• Experienced in data visualisation techniques and implementations, such as d3.
• Exposure to deployment into the Cloud with platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Possess a strong focus on technical excellence, eager to set standards and mentor others.
