What you will do
- Manage multi-platform releases by partnering with stakeholders to integrate platform, compliance, and publishing requirements.
- Own Compliance & Submissions by handling build uploads, certification, and storefront setup on platforms such as Sony, Microsoft, Steam, Epic Games Store, and Nintendo.
- Act as the project’s subject matter expert for first-party processes, best practices, and building relationships with partners.
- Develop, track, and maintain release plans/schedules in collaboration with game team leads and product owners.
- Anticipate risks, release challenges, implement mitigation plans, and act as the escalation point for high-priority issues.
- Coordinate with multiple internal teams (Localization, User Research, Marketing, Development, Sales & Partnership) to ensure timely and quality releases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Release Management with a proven track record of releasing at least one base game on multiple platforms, including at least one console release.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the full game development lifecycle and its integration with publishing workflows.
- Expertise in first-party submission and certification processes for PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, and PC platforms.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, ASANA, and partner portals.
- Strong communication skills with the potential of knowledge sharing and mentoring.
- Ability to work as a team player and also independently.
