Frontend Engineer

What you will do

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to design and implement new frontend capabilities for structured content like Tables, Timelines, and Kanban views.
• Develop and maintain high-performance, scalable frontend services using Typescript, React, Canvas, and WebSocket technologies.
• Contribute to the architecture and technical direction of the frontend domain.
• Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code following best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues ensuring high availability and performance.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Amsterdam
• English: B2 level or higher
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a focus on frontend technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Javascript, React, Typescript, Webpack.
• Experience with WebGL, Canvas API or related 2D graphics libraries (PixiJS, Skia).
• Experience with realtime technologies such as WebSocket.
• Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, relational databases, AWS, microservices, and Kafka is a plus.
