What you will do

• Diagnose and resolve routine and complex IT issues for end-users and test equipment.
• Provide technical assistance and support through written and verbal communication.
• Deploy PC equipment and endpoint software, and support hardware troubleshooting including legacy expansion cards and communication ports.
• Document findings and communicate issues to engineering teams.
• Work with remote software experts to deploy and maintain custom software updates.
• Support after-hours or weekend emergencies and occasional travel for remote equipment support.

Requirements

• Location: Must be onsite in Torrance, CA, United States
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent experience (10+ years with high school diploma).
• At least 5 years of IT support experience for PC-based technical applications.
• Familiarity with NI LabView and/or dSpace ControlDesk products.
• Industry certifications CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Net+.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with knowledge of Windows OS, networking, and hardware diagnostics.

Nice to have

• Current and active DoD Secret Clearance or higher.
• Knowledge of backup/image software like Ghost or Acronis.
• Understanding of IP KVM switches, UPS diagnostics, and LAN/VLAN concepts.
