What you will do

• Conduct laboratory experiments using organic reactions and established procedures.
• Synthesize, purify, and analyze new perfume ingredients on various scales.
• Optimize and upscale chemical processes.
• Document experimental data, observations, and conclusions in English.
• Maintain lab equipment, chemical stocks, and a tidy workspace.
• Ensure safety practices in the laboratory.

Requirements

• Location: Based in Shanghai, China.
• Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic Chemistry with bench work experience.
• Practical experience with analytical techniques such as NMR and GC-MS.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ChemDraw, SciFinder, and Reaxys.
• Good command of written English.
• Experience with laboratory safety practices.
