What you will do

• Build, maintain, and release optimized large-scale data pipelines using Java, Spark, and Kafka.
• Make architecture decisions for scalable and cost-efficient data processing systems.
• Champion testing, monitoring, and operational excellence across distributed systems.
• Participate actively in design and planning of new features with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with UX and Product Management to align solutions with customer needs.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Belfast, United Kingdom
• Minimum 5 years experience in software development with Java and data engineering technologies including Scala, Spark, and PostgreSQL.
