What you will do

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines and big data solutions.
• Work with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using tools like Apache Airflow.
• Ensure data security and compliance with relevant standards.
• Collaborate with international clients and teams remotely.
• Continuously improve data engineering practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Must be based in Portugal or have CPLP nationality or EU work permit
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5+ years experience as a Data Engineer with proven data pipeline design skills.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala programming languages.
• Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Kafka.
• Strong SQL and NoSQL database knowledge.
• Fluency in English (minimum B2 level).

Nice to have

• Advanced degrees or certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer or AWS Certified Big Data.
• Fluency in French.
• Based in Portugal.
