What you will do

• Design and build data pipelines using Databricks, Apache Spark, and Python.
• Develop scalable data solutions on AWS including S3, Glue, Lambda, and IAM.
• Implement ETL processes and data lake/lakehouse architectures ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective data solutions.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, NHS standards, and security frameworks.
• Drive continuous improvement in data engineering practices and technologies.

Requirements

• Must hold or be eligible for UK Security Clearance.
• Proven experience as a Data Engineer with large, complex datasets.
• Hands-on expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, SQL, and Python (PySpark preferred).
• Experience with AWS cloud services including S3, Glue, Lambda, and IAM.
• Familiarity with ETL design, data modelling, and data lake/lakehouse concepts.
• Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks; healthcare sector or NHS data standards knowledge is advantageous.
