What you will do

• Design, implement, and evolve core APIs enabling AI agents to take meaningful actions across hirify.global’s ecosystem
• Build scalable orchestration systems with robust logging and high availability
• Collaborate on architecture for primitives like memory, context windows, and reasoning steps
• Integrate with existing execution infrastructure and build interfaces between LLMs and automations
• Partner with Product, Platform, and Sales teams to align protocol with internal and external needs
• Drive design decisions prioritizing scalability, performance, security, and developer clarity

Requirements

• Must be located in North America (United States or Canada) for remote work
• 6+ years of experience designing and maintaining complex backend production systems
• Proficiency in backend development with Python or Node.js
• Experience with API design, database modeling, and CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with AI tooling and building systems enabling AI usage
• Strong platform thinking and customer empathy mindset

Nice to have

• Experience with model context protocol or agent frameworks
• Ability to work in ambiguous environments and take ownership
