What you will do

• Lead the transformation of big data solutions with real-time streaming and batch analytical capabilities.
• Provide technical leadership and guide the team in product and system architecture.
• Mentor and empower a distributed team of data and software engineers.
• Manage multiple projects and prioritize team’s time for maximum impact.
• Establish a vision and guide the team through execution using data-driven decisions.
• Ensure quality and health of platforms owned by the team.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in leadership and management of teams.
• Experience in designing and managing large scale low latency data processing pipelines.
• Experience with Kubernetes is an asset.
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and streaming data platforms.
• Knowledge of big data technologies like Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, and data warehousing.
