Data Engineer

Overview

Join as the founding Data Engineer to build and lead data engineering infrastructure that supports product decisions impacting millions of users worldwide. This role offers autonomy, technical leadership, and the chance to establish best practices in a lean, high-impact environment.

What you will do

• Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Dagster and ClickHouse OLAP database
• Transform raw data into actionable insights for product and marketing teams
• Establish data engineering standards, documentation, and code review processes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and analyst teams to meet data needs
• Build automated reporting and monitoring systems for real-time data visibility

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering or related fields
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and experience with ClickHouse or similar OLAP databases
• Hands-on experience with Dagster or similar orchestration frameworks
• Knowledge of AWS S3 and cloud data storage patterns
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile app analytics and user behavior tracking
• Familiarity with machine learning data pipelines and infrastructure
• Knowledge of fraud detection and data analysis techniques
• Previous experience as founding or early data team member in high-growth environments
