Overview
The Loan Originations & Reporting (LOR) team at
powers the systems that originate, allocate, and report on every loan globally. They manage mission-critical processes with high reliability and financial accuracy, fostering a culture of openness and collaboration. Engineers drive architectural discussions and improve processes through feedback and retrospectives.What you will do
- Break down projects into tasks and deliver them in phases, collaborating with others for timely delivery.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to articulate technical constraints and support product development.
- Support the operations and availability of team artifacts by monitoring metrics and providing on-call support.
- Contribute to team community through growth activities like participation in the interview process.
Requirements
- 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems and proficiency in Python or Kotlin.
- Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to translate problems into solutions and write clear, testable code.
- Comfortable navigating a large code base and providing feedback through code reviews.
- Strong communication skills to support collaboration with a global engineering team.
