Overview
This role is a pivotal, high-impact position at the forefront of
's strategic expansion within the Open Banking sector, responsible for finding and closing new business deals across the UK. You will engage with key decision-makers within large merchant accounts to secure a role for 's Open Banking solutions, liaising with various stakeholders to build compelling business cases and secure significant commercial arrangements. The Open Banking team is a demanding environment with ambitious goals, requiring significant dedication and personal commitment for accelerated learning and career progression.What you will do
- Drive new open banking volume growth through the full sales cycle, from pipeline building and lead qualification to closing strategic deals.
- Understand prospects' needs and architect compelling solutions for their payment challenges using Open Banking technology.
- Define and execute ambitious growth strategies, positioning as the market leader.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Policy, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure credible deal execution.
- Ensure a seamless client onboarding experience by working with customer success teams.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience selling Open Banking solutions in a new business-focused, enterprise sales role, preferably within a fast-growing FinTech.
- Deep subject matter expertise in Open Banking, its use cases, and the competitive landscape.
- Exceptional communication skills to simplify complex topics and build rapport with technical and non-technical decision-makers.
- A proactive, action-oriented mindset with strong business acumen in fast-paced environments.
- Demonstrable success navigating complex, consultative sales cycles with a data-driven approach.
