Overview

Work as a Data Scientist in the Credit Risk team focusing on application and behavioral scoring to improve onboarding decisions and portfolio profitability. Collaborate cross-functionally to align models with business goals and continuously refine credit strategies.

What you will do

• Own the full modeling cycle from data exploration to production-ready specifications
• Validate model quality using metrics like AUC, KS, bad rate, and stability index
• Monitor model performance post-launch and decide on retraining or adaptation
• Evaluate model value through NPV, backtesting, and portfolio performance
• Translate insights into credit strategy decisions and contribute to credit management tools
• Collaborate closely with product and data teams to align models with business objectives

Requirements

• Must have 2+ years of experience in data analytics or data science
• Deep knowledge of statistics, probability, and machine learning algorithms
• Experience with credit scoring models and full model lifecycle
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data exploration and modeling
• Willingness to relocate to Manila HQ is a strong advantage

Nice to have

• Prior work with credit products, especially in fintech
• Experience assessing business impact of models (NPV, backtesting)
• Exposure to cross-functional collaboration with product or engineering teams
